About Suzi

I have lived in the Orange Park area since 1980 and have 2 wonderful sons. I have been involved with my boys leading Cub Scout meetings, teaching Sunday school classes at church and volunteering in their school classrooms, among other things. When my oldest was 15 months old, I enrolled him in ISR lessons because we had a pool in our backyard and I was concerned for his safety. At that time, the closest ISR Instructor for me was 35 minutes away. It was hard because of the time commitment and the fact that this child absolutely hated the carseat but the peace-of-mind was worth every mile. We went back the next year for refreshers. When my youngest was ready for lessons, I drove him as well. I really wanted to help bring ISR closer to more families in the Orange Park area so I became certified to teach these precious live-saving skills to reach more children before they reach the water alone. I still get excited every time I see my students learn these skills and become more confident little swimmers.
